Harry Linman

February 10, 1930 — January 7, 2011

Of Clio, age 80, died Friday, January 7, 2011 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place, 12:00 noon, Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Clio. Reverend Erik Cloeter will officiate with burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, with Graveside Military Honors conducted by the American Legion Post #158. Family will receive friends at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Clio on Sunday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, Monday from, 11:00am to 8:00pm, and Tuesday from 11:00am until time of service at 12:00 noon. On Monday evening family and friends will gather at the church for a American Legion Memorial Service at 7:00pm. Memorial donations may be considered to Messiah Lutheran Church. Envelopes are available at the church. Harry was born February 10, 1930 in Bannister, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert and Lillian (Gimm) Linman. He and Mildred Stehlik were united in marriage on June 25, 1955. She preceded him in death in 1994. He and Darlene Hartfield were united in marriage March 4, 2000. Harry proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post #158. He worked at Fisher Body Coldwater Road for 37 years as a millwright. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Harry leaves to cherish his memory wife Darlene Hartfield, daughter, Julie Blalock, 2 sons, Blake Linman and Eric and wife Dawn Linman, 7 Grandchildren; Nicholas and wife Sarah Blalock, Jeffrey and wife Leslie Blalock, Zachary, David and Derek Blalock, Kyle Linman and Melissa and husband Christopher Chamberlain, four great-grandchildren, Breanna, Kaitlyn, Braden and Brianna, two sisters-in-law, Dora Mae Linman, and Joann and husband James Sutherland, many nieces, nephews and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mildred and brother A.C.
