Harold Kuhnle

Harold M. Kuhnle, \ \ Age 95 of Casa Grande, AZ, formerly of Vassar, MI passed away at Archstone Care Center in Chandler, Friday, January 26, 2007. Harold was born in Vassar, Michigan on May 22, 1911 to Christian and Marie Kuhnle. Services will be held at Martin Funeral Home in Vassar, Michigan with visitation 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm Tuesday, February 06 and Services 11:00 am Wednesday, February 07, 2007 with Pastor Steve Woodford officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery. Mr. Kuhnle was born on the family farm where he worked with his father as a farmer and cattleman throughout most of his life. He served his community as City Council member and Mayor. In his later life he worked for the Vassar Golf and Country Club as a greens keeper before moving to Arizona where he lived the last two years of his life. He was an excellent mechanic and carpenter. The duck decoys he had carved are treasured by those who possess them. He was an avid hunter and loved animals. He is survived by his daughter, Kathryn Hollenback, of Casa Grande, AZ, six grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. \ \ \
