Age 81, of Mount Morris, died Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at his home. A celebration of his life will take place 2:00 pm, Monday, August 26, 2019, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services of Mount Morris. Harold’s family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and again on Monday from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 2:00 pm. Harold was born November 23, 1937, in Morgan County, Alabama, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Cloide F. and Birdie (Nelson) Breeding. Educated in Alabama, he made his way North to work for General Motors’ Ternsted plant in 1961. After working for 30 years, Harold retired in 1991. His retirement would allow him to do more of the things he enjoyed; fishing, hunting, and playing his guitar. Harold often went home to his native Alabama to go fishing and would catch his share of bluegills. His love for fish did not end at just catching them; he also enjoyed cleaning, cooking, and eating fish. Harold loved to share his fish with family, friends, and anyone who would eat it. When he was not on the water, Harold could be found hunting. Throughout his hunting life, he shot 42 deer. Harold was an avid musician. He performed with his guitar all over the state of Michigan with his band, “Hello Trouble.” Harold enjoyed singing! He would Karaoke three days a week at multiple locations and was referred to as Larry King. When Harold was not enjoying the outdoors or performing, he could be found at a local Eagles club. He was a proud member of the Auto City Eagles Aerie #3485. Left to cherish his memory are his sons: John Breeding, and David Breeding; daughters: Leslie and husband, Joe Hasselblad, and Dawn Alexander; grandchildren: Joel Breeding, Randy Hasselblad, Alyssa Hasselblad, Adam Alexander, Aaron Alexander, Sarah Alexander, Nick Alexander, and Ruby Alexander; sisters: Eva Zirlott, Opal LaRochelle, Carolyn Knight, and Martha Hill; special friends: Howard Biggs, Dan Duby, and Buddy Ray; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Evelyn Winset, and Helen Maze; former wives: Dorothy Breeding, and Judy Breeding.
