Gyorgyi Nagy, 61, of Frankenmuth, MI, died peacefully on March 16th, 2019 at Covenant Hospital, Saginaw MI. She was born November 20, 1957, in Miskolc Hungary. She is predeceased by her parents, Ibolya & Imre Kröell- Dulay and her late husband, Robert Nagy. Gyorgyi was a passionate and talented musician; whether playing classically on the piano, or dancing in the park, she found happiness in life, and felt the rhythm of the beat. She attended a musical conservatory in her earlier years where she learned to play piano, later graduating with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan- Flint, and becoming a Music Educator for Bay City Public Schools and accompanying St. Agnes Church on the piano/organ. Living in Frankenmuth was a warm reminder of her home in Europe, especially the lovely flowers, espressos, and friendly community. Gyorgyi’s biggest love in life was family, instilled by her noble parents, and expressed through endless encouragement, wisdom, and Hungarian cooking. Gyorgyi is survived by her daughter, Natalie and loving relatives and close friends. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Monday, April 8th 2019 at 11:00AM at St. John Vianney, 2415 Bagley St. Flint, MI.
