July 10, 1956 — July 19, 2024

Age 68, of Mt. Morris, died Friday, July 19, 2024, at home surrounded by her family. A memorial service will take place at 1:00pm, Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services. Deacon Omar Odette to officiate. Gloria’s family will be present to receive friends from 11:00am until the time of service at 1:00pm. Memorial contributions may be considered to the Living Liver Foundation, livingliver.org. Gloria was born on July 10, 1956, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jose and Dora (Soliz) Rodriguez. Educated locally, Gloria graduated from Beecher High School with the Class of 1975. Shortly after graduation, Gloria began her career working at General Motors Truck and Bus Division until her retirement in 2004. Gloria loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She could often be found traveling around Michigan, camping. Known for her delicious bread, pizza, and enchiladas, Gloria was an amazing baker and cook. Her favorite cuisines were Mexican and Chinese. A bit of a risk taker, Gloria enjoyed going to the casino and scratch-off tickets. In her free time, Gloria enjoyed playing BINGO, pool, golf, and throwing darts. Gloria’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the nursing staff at Genesys Hospital, and Compassus Hospice for the love and care they showed to Gloria. Gloria’s family would also like to give a special thank you to aunt Angie and cousin Alice for all of the support, love, and help they gave to our family.

Left to cherish Gloria’s memory are her siblings: Valentin, Arturo and wife, Julia, Arnulfo and wife, Margaret, Armando, Carlos and wife, Lorena; Sylvia, Yolanda and husband Gilbert, Maria and husband, Craig, Mary Ester and husband, Guadalupe, Amalia; step-son, Todd Brall; grandchildren: Tony Rosencrants, Tyler Rosencrants, Todjaray Brall, William Brall; great-granddaughter, Willow; several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; son, Chad Rodriguez; nephews: Chris Rodriguez and Carlos Rodriguez; brother, Joe Rodriguez; sister-in-law, Susan Rodriguez.
