Glenn Miller

Age 86, died Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at BrianAaas House in Bay City. Glenn was born September 6, 1922 in Fairgrove, Michigan. He and his wife Norma Austin were united in marriage in August of 1941 and have been happily married for the past 67 years. Glenn was a graduate of Fairgrove High School with the Class of 1939 and went to study at a trade school in Detroit. For most of his life, Glenn worked the family farm in Fairgrove and during winter months, he worked several odd jobs. He was a mason and a member of the Fairgrove Presbyterian Church. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 67 years, Norma, granddaughter; Kristy and husband Ken OAaaDea, grandson; Timothy Miller, three great-grandchildren; Natalie, Nikkolette and Brittany, special nephew, Bob Hunter, and several friends. He was preceded in death by a son, Steven, daughter, Sue Olinger and a grandson, Mark Steven Miller. The funeral service will take place 11:00am Friday, September 12, 2008 at the Martin Funeral Home in Fairgrove. Pastor Rich Lawther will officiate with burial to follow in Brookside Cemetery. GlennAaas family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00pm to 8:00pm.
