Of Flint, age 78, died peacefully at home, February 3, 2012. Sue was born July 5, 1933, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Everett and Lessie (Pitts) Williams. She worked at Michigan National Banks as a vault supervisor for 13 years before retiring in 1990. Sue loved bowling both teaching and playing. She was inducted into the Flint Bowling Hall of Fame in 1990. She expressed her artistic and creative talents through macrame, painting and ceramics. She shared the fruits of her baking skills with family and friends, always. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters; Cheryl Williams and Christina Little; grandson, Jack Wesley Little and long-time friend and partner, Mike "Mickey" Patrick. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Jean Lince and Eiolet Holbrook. The Life Celebration will take place 2:30 pm Saturday, February 11, 2012, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Sue's family will be present at the funeral home on Saturday to receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. On Saturday afternoon family and friends will gather at 2:00 pm for a Flint Bowling Hall of Fame Memorial Service. In lieu of flowers please consider memorial contributions to the Genesee County Humane Society or to a charity of your choice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
