George Foster Jr.

Age 82, of Mt Morris died Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at McLaren-Flint. Cremation has taken place and a burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery is to take place at a later date. Those desiring, may direct memorial contributions made in George’s memory to his family. Mr. Foster was born July 25, 1933 in Detroit to the late George and Anna (Hoffman) Foster Sr. He served in the Air Force from 1952 to 1956. George is a General Motors retiree, and was a member of the VFW Post # 4156 in White Lake, Michigan, and numerous American Legion posts around the country. In his free time, George enjoyed working around the house and being extremely social in his community. Left to cherish his memory are his nine children: Pamela Foster, Stephan and wife Debbie Foster, George and wife, Belinda Foster III, Kristi and husband Troy McCubbin, William Foster, Barton and wife, Margie Foster Sr., Randy Foster, Kari and husband, Craig Campbell, and Wesley and wife, Stacie Foster; 27 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; three siblings: Don, Gertrude, and Josephine; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. George was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Joseph.
