On Tuesday, May 19, 2020, Gaylord L Mannor, loving husband and father of five children, went home to be with the Lord at the age of 83. Gaylord was born on October 9, 1936, in Flint, he is the son of Charles and Mary (Bourdeau) Mannor. Gaylord was employed by GM/Buick for 36 years. On April 23, 1960, he married the love of his life, Yvonne Wilson. Together they raised three daughters: Amy, Barb, Cindy, and two sons: Douglas and Matthew. Gaylord enjoyed the outdoors, which included gardening, hunting, and fishing with his sons and grandchildren. He was a devout Catholic and proud member of St Mary’s Catholic Church since 1968. He was also a member of the Mt. Morris Knights of Columbus council 4285. Gaylord is survived by his wife Yvonne; three daughters: Amy (Dennis) Giannakakis, Barb (Paul) Mueller, and Cindy (George) Zureikat; son: Doug (Jenny) Mannor; brother: Gordon Mannor; proud grandfather of 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary Mannor, his brother, Raymond Mannor, sister, Ginger Payne, and his son, Matthew Mannor. A private graveside service will be held Saturday, May 23, 2020, at Calvary Cemetery, located behind St. Mary’s Church. Social distancing will be respected.
