Gary Barker

Of Mt. Morris, age 60 died at his home on Sunday, July 26, 2015. Funeral Service will take place 1:00 pm, Thursday, July 30, 2015, at Martin Funeral, Cremation, & Tribute Services Genesee Twp. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm. Memorial donations may be directed to St Vincent de Paul at St. Mary Catholic Church. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Gary was born December 6, 1954, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas and Pauline (Chaney) Barker. He served his country in the United States Army. He went to work for GM Truck & Bus, retiring in 2006, with 30 years of service. Gary enjoyed fishing, hunting and listening to classic rock and roll. Left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Tom Barker, Earl Barker, Lance and wife, Janet Barker and Cal Barker; several nieces; nephews; aunts; uncles; and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kelly Barker.
