Garey L. Shultz

Age 71, of Flint, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025 at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Garey’s tribute wall at martinfuneralhome.com.

Garey Lee Shultz was born on April 24, 1953, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. Bert Shultz and Thelma (Abbott) Munson. Educated locally, he graduated from Beecher High School in 1971. In his free time, Garey enjoyed hunting, fishing, and auto racing. He was a longtime member of the Lapeer Sportsman’s Club.

Left to cherish his memory are many beloved family members and friends.

Garey is preceded in death by his parents: Bert and Thelma; his sister: Karen Hemmingway; and his brother: Chuck and wife, Joan Burch.
