Fred Deaver

DEAVER JR., Fred Of Clio, age 81, died Sunday, October 9, 2011, at his home. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Fred was born April 26, 1930, in Laurinberg, North Carolina, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred and Mary (Skipper) Deaver, Sr. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Fred and Mary Robbins were united in marriage on February 23, 1963, in Mt. Morris. Fred worked for General Motors-Ternstedt for 34 years, retiring in 1985. Left to cherish his memory are wife, Mary; four sons, Kevin, Rick, Mike and wife, Khanh and Pat and wife, Vivian; two granddaughters, Kristie and Hannah; and sister, Ruby Rhye. He was preceded in death by his parents.
