Frances Mcclure

McClure Frances Marie, \ \ Of Vassar, Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and sister, passed away March 16, 2007 at Brianas House in Bay City, Michigan at the age of 83. Frances was born January 14, 1924 in south Bend, Indiana, daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Sidney and Daisy (Webster) Crothers. She married William F. McClure on July 9, 1944 in south Bend. He preceded her in death on November 1, 1983 in Saginaw. She then married Carl C. Koon on September 17, 1986 in Kissimmee, Florida. He preceded her in death on January 29, 1992 in Florida. \ Frances is survived by two sons, Thomas and wife Janet McClure and John McClure of Vassar; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one brother, Lloyd Crothers, and two sisters, Delores Fox and Marilyn Craig all of Indiana. She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Judi McClure. Francesa family will be present to receive friends at the Martin Funeral Home in Vassar on Thursday from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. There will be a private committal on Friday in Riverside Cemetery with Rev. Cyril Haines. Cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions may be directed to Brianas House of Bay City.
