Age 74, of Clio, died Saturday, April 15, 2017, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, Florida. A funeral service celebrating Floyd’s life will take place at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris, on Friday, April 21, 2017, at 11:00 am. Officiating Minister, Elder Cindy Dewar, with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, April 20, 2017, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm and again on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Memorial contributions can be directed to The Wounded Warrior Project. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Floyd was born March 2, 1943, the son of Mr. & Mrs. Elzie and Cinderella (Thomas) Judd. He and Caroline Hester were united in marriage on April 16, 1976, in Lake Alfred, Florida. Floyd worked for Holly Sand and Gravel for 30 years and was an Elder for Community of Christ in Clio. In his free time, Floyd enjoyed collecting rocks from the conveyor belt, watching westerns, leather working and wood engraving. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Caroline; four sons: Jeffrey (Ronda) Judd, Jason (Roseann) Judd, Lawrence Judd and Terrance Judd; nine grandchildren: Mitchell, Michael, Marshall, Morgan, Eric, Jason Jr., Joseph, Jon, and Jennifer (Chris); three great-grandchildren: Madison, Christian and Hayden; one sister: Marcia Lee West; and many nieces and nephews. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Sonny Judd and Dwain Judd.
