Ferris Bourjaily

Of Northville, age 92, died Thursday, April 11, 2013, at St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia. At the family's request, cremation has taken place. Ferris was born February 19, 1921, in Detroit , Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Shaheen and Julia (Saad) Bourjaily. He was a Graduate of Detroit Institute of Technology earning two degrees, Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration and a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering. He was employed by Detroit Edison for 37 years. Left to cherish his memory are sons, Randal and wife, Mary Jo Bourjaily, and Kenneth and wife, Elsbeth Bourjaily; seven grandchildren; and Loyal Companion Terese DeMarais. He was preceded in death by his parents; wives Patricia (Simpson) Bourjaily, and Lois (Siefers) Bourjaily; and brother, Frederick Bourjaily.
