COVID-19 UPDATE: With the recent guidelines limiting the number of people to less than 50 at any gathering, we are asking that you consider other ways to help support family and friends during this difficult time as an alternative to attending a visitation or funeral. Age 91, of Mt. Morris, died March 14, 2020, at Cranberry Park. A Mass of Christian Burial and burial in Calvary Cemetery will be celebrated privately with the family. Rev Fr. Roy Horning will officiate. Faith's family will be present at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris to receive guests on Tuesday from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm. On Tuesday evening, family, friends, and parish will gather at the funeral home for a Rosary, at 7:00 pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Corcoran House, St. Mary Catholic Church or the Mayo Clinic (200 First Street SW, Rochester, MN 55905). Envelopes are available at the funeral home and church. Faith was born September 24, 1928, in Flint, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce and Gertrude (Jones) Larkin. She and Edward James Corcoran were united in marriage on April 24, 1948. Sadly, Edward preceded her in death on December 16, 2011. Faith was an amazing mother who spent her days raising and tending to the needs of her 11 boys. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling the world with her wonderful husband. Faith also enjoyed crocheting, cooking, baking, playing Euchre and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Faith leaves to cherish her memory 11 sons, John and wife Dianne, Steve and wife Chris, Matt and wife Sue, Paul and wife Mary Sue, Tom and wife Connie, Mark and wife Karen, Pat and wife Sue, Marty, Luke, Tim and wife Carmen, and Ed and wife Maryann; sister: Gloria LaVigne; brother: Aaron Larkin; 33 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. Special lifelong friends Paul Harcz and Eleanor Noe. The family would also like to send a special thank you to Lisa from Cardinal Hospice and the staff at Cranberry Park Memory Care for their friendship. Faith was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Edward James Corcoran; siblings: Leo, Bruce, Elwin, Donald, Hope, Charity, Fr. Ronald, James and Philomena.
