Evelyn Cutcher

April 13, 1918 — February 15, 2009

Of Gladwin, formerly of Mt. Morris, age 90, died Sunday, February 15, 2009 at West Branch Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 11:00 am, Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Rev. Fr. Timothy McDonald will officiate with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and on Wednesday from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Burton Eagles for the benefit of Hurley Cancer Foundation. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Evelyn was born April 13, 1918 in Temple , Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willis and Bertha (Babinaw) Rouse. She and Walter Cutcher were united in marriage December 4, 1938 in Inkster, Michigan. Evelyn leaves to cherish her memory six children: Donald Cutcher, Genevieve Gibson, Jacqueline and husband David Perez, Beverly and husband Michael Swedorski, John and wife Peggy Kayanek, and Darlene and husband Jack Richardson, 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, sister Lucille Smalley, and many special nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Walter, two sons George "Bill", Howard, and brother in law John Kayanek. Her children would like to express a special thanks to their brother in law Mike and sister Bev for the care they have given to her. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Katneni, Heartland Hospice of Gladwin, West Branch Regional Medical Center (ICU and Surgical Unit), her two adopted twins, Ina Veenhuis and Nina Lloyd, Jill and Gary Goodemoot, Lorraine Rose, and Sandy Lobo.
