Of Fairgrove, age 97, died Thursday, December 10, 2009. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Monday, December 14, 2009 at the Grace Ev Lutheran Church in Fairgrove. Pastor Leonard Astrowski will officiate with burial to follow in Brookside Cemetery. Family will be present to receive friends at Martin Funeral Home-Fairgrove from 1:00pm until 4:00pm and 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Grace Lutheran Church or Bay Medical Visiting Nurses. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and church. Edna was born November 15, 1912 in Russia, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl and Catherine (Metzger) Riefegerst. She and Fred Beller were united in marriage October 5, 1935. He preceded her in death May 16, 1987. Edna was a member of the Fairgrove VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Edna leaves to cherish her memory her children, Sonny "Fred," Marie and husband, Larry Dumeney; five grandchildren, Kevin and wife, Erin, Carrie and husband, Keith Krause, Kristi and husband, Joe Villapandro, Renee and husband, Jim Dixon, Patrick Dumeney; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Charlie and wife, Lucille; many nieces and nephews.
