Of Mt. Morris, age 78, died Friday, March 5, 2010 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 12:00 noon, Monday, March 8, 2010 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor David Burkett will officiate with burial to follow in Meadow View Cemetery, with Military Honors conducted by the American Legion Post # 158. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, from 12:00 noon to 8:00pm, and on Monday from 11:00am until time of service at 12:00 noon. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post # 158 for soldier care packages. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Edward was born January 20, 1932 in Lupton, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. Urban and Elvina (Beck) Craft. He and Ernedine Oliver were united in marriage July 17, 1954 in Saginaw. Ed proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict with the US Army, until his Honorable Discharge, in 1952. Ed worked at Ternstedt Coldwater Road for 30 years, until his retirement in 1984. He was a member of UAW #326. He also owned and operated EdAaas & SonAaas Wrecker Service until his death. Ed leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 55 years, Ernedine, three children, Lucky and wife Karin Craft, Patty and husband Mike Walton, Tim Craft, six grandchildren, Tony and wife Terri Craft, Jason and wife Jenny Craft, Tanya Craft and Chad Ferguson, Matthew and wife Dawn Walton, Derek and wife Ryann Sather, and Jason Sather, four great grandchildren, Michael, Justin, Lucas, and Molly Jane, four sisters, Genevive, Deloris, Florence, and Sharon, and brother Urban Junior, special nephew, Craig Ware, and many other nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Scott Sather, great grandson Andrew Sather, and four sisters, and three brothers.
