Dulce Mcgeachy

Age 88, of Mt. Morris Township, died at home peacefully, with her family by her side, on Sunday, October 20, 2019. Per Dulce’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be directed to Valley Area Agency on Aging. Dulce was born July 19, 1931, in Manistee County, Michigan, the daughter of Elmer and Bessie (Valencourt) Carpenter. Dulce and William McGeachy were married nearly 40 years before he predeceased her. She worked for many years as a custodian for the Westwood Heights School District. Dulce enjoyed crocheting, crafts, the outdoors, gardening, camping, and traveling. Dulce leaves to cherish her memory: two children: Dennis and wife, Pat Precour, and Linda Kaminski; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Karen, and husband, Hulon Swink, and brother: Ron, and wife, Lynette Carpenter; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William McGeachy, and two children: Sharon Barnes and Randy McGeachy.
