Duane Earl Marsden

Age 66, of Clio, died on Thursday, March 5, 2020. A Celebration of Life will be held at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, March 11, 2020. Duane's family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Genesee County Humane Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Duane was born in Flint, on February 24, 1954, to Russel Marsden and Rubina Klemm. Known as someone with a tough exterior, Duane would tell you exactly what was on his mind. He was proud to watch his nephew Tito grow from newborn baby to a young man, starting his own life. In his free time, Duane loved to watch football, going on casino outings and snacking on junk food. Duane is survived by his eight siblings: Ronald and wife, Dawn Marsden, Marlene Gonzalez, Denise and husband, Humberto Villarreal, James Maupin and family, Larry and wife, Marietta Marsden, Linda and husband, Tim Corr, John and wife, Cindy Hunt, and Andy Hunt and Beth Bailey; many nieces, nephews, and many close family and friends. Duane was preceded in death by his parents; sister: Rosemary Card, and brother: Gary Marsden.
