Doris Koviack

Of Clio, formerly of Mt. Morris, age 82, died Thursday, March 1, 2007 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will take place 11:00am, Monday, March 5, 2007 at Miles Martin Funeral Home. Rev. Wayne Ferrigan will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Dorisa family will be present to receive friends at the on Saturday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 9:00pm and Sunday from 12:00 noon to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Messiah Lutheran Church Samaritan fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Doris was born April 11, 1924 in Marion Springs, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank, Jr. and Lena (Meyer) Attenberger. She and Raymond Koviack were united in marriage August 26, 1944 in Mt. Morris. Doris worked as a supervisor for the food service program at Mt. Morris Schools for 15 years. She enjoyed making Christmas Ornaments and gardening. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of over 62 years, Raymond of Clio, daughter: Sandra Koviack of Birch Run, son: Michael and wife Diana Koviack of Clio, two granddaughters: Michelle and husband Guy Wykes of Burt, Elizabeth and husband John Palasty of Birch Run, three great-grandchildren: Steven, Nicole and Zachary, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, sister: Alice Johnson and a brother: Frank Attenberger.
