Donald Holbin

Of Clio, died Saturday, March 13, 2010 at his home. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers please consider memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or to Clio Senior Center. Donald was born in Flint, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy and Madalyn (Haight) Holbin. He and Barbara Wilder were united in marriage July 26, 1952. Donald owned and operated Donald Holbin Custom Homes from 1956-1994, he was the president of the Clio Eagles Aerie # 3609 from 1981-1982, a member of the Home Building Association, and a member of the Faternal Order of Police. During his spare time Donald enjoyed spending time with his family, playing cards, and going to auctions. Donald leaves behind his wife of 57 years, Barbara; two children; Edward (Ann) Holbin, Scott (Tracy) Holbin, six grandchildren; Janeese, Troy, Ian, Nathan, Jeff, Tyler; several great-grandchildren; one brother, four sisters, and several nieces, nephews, and friends. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and three sisters.
