Don passed away on June 30, 2016 at Brittany Manor in Midland after a courageous battle with cancer with his family by his side. He was born on March 6, 1939 in Detroit, MI the son of the late Walter and Evelyn (Rouse) Cutcher. He attended Beecher High School and then enlisted in the Air Force. He lived the majority of his life in the Flint area retiring from Buick Motor Division. Don enjoyed hunting and fishing with his nephew Billy Boy, playing pool, singing karaoke, and was an avid NASCAR fan. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #629 in Flint and Fraternal Order of the Auto City Eagles in Mt. Morris. He is survived by his son “Rusty” Walter Russell (Rosemarie) Cutcher, grandson Dylan, two sisters Jackie and David Perez, Beverly and Michael Swedorski, one brother John and Peggy Kayanek, one sister in law Ruth Cutcher and several nieces and nephews. Don is predeceased by two brothers George Cutcher, Howard Cutcher, two sister’s Genevieve Gibson, Darlene Richardson and a special uncle John Kayanek. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday July 6, 2016 from Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris with Pastor Tony Reynolds officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM until the time of service with inurnment in Great Lakes National Cemetery Holly, MI. Those wishing an expression an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the wishes of the family. Arrangements were entrusted to Sisson Funeral Home.
