DRUDGE, Dessie May\ \ Of Mt. Morris, age 98, died Friday, July 13, 2007 at Maple Woods Manor. The funeral service will take place 2:00pm, Monday, July 16, 2007 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mount Morris. Pastor Tim Evans will officiate with burial at a later date at Flint Memorial Park. Family will be receiving friends from 12:00 noon until time of service at 2:00pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Maple Woods Manor. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.\ \ Dessie was born March 4, 1909 in Thompsonville, Indiana the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Dolly (Richardson) Groshon. Dessie enjoyed gardening, playing dominoes, and taking care of her children and family. \ \ Dessies memory will be cherished by daughters, Betty Knickerocker and husband Ronald of Mt. Morris, Pauline Wendel of Stanfield, Arizona, Pat Lien and husband Allan of Montrose, Carol Drudge of Phoenix, Arizona, several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great-Great Grandchildren\ \ Dessie was preceded in death by her parents; Charles and Dolly (Richardson) Groshon, sisters; Laura and Lilly, 5 brothers; Eugene, Bud, Jack, Vane, Roy,Grandson Douglas, 2 Great-Grandsons, Mark and Aaron and a son-in-law, Lester Wendel.\ \
