Deborah Kay Coykendall

Age 72, of Mt. Morris, passed away Monday, August 28, 2023 at home with her family by her side. In accordance with Deborah's wishes cremation will take place. Expression of sympathy may be placed on Deborah's tribute wall at martinfuneralhome.com.

Deborah was born in Flint, on June 25, 1951, she is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd and Evelyn (Mcginn) Coykendall. Educated locally, Deborah graduated from Clio High School, with the class of 1969. Shortly after graduating, she would begin working for Buick in the cafeteria. Throughout the years, Deborah would transfer to Fisher Body - Grand Blanc then to the Lake Orion Plant working production until her retirement in 1998. In her free time, Deborah enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, cooking and baking. She was well known for making the best Cheesecakes and Chocolate cakes. She also enjoyed playing her Nintendo Switch, watching QVC, Price is Right, and her soap operas.

Left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Robin Coykendall, and Julie Coykendall; nieces: Cheri Rosell, Sara, and Samantha Coykendall; nephews: Alex, Steven, and David, Mark Coykendall; and her sister-in-law, Deborah Coykendall.

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Kimberly; and brothers: Timothy, and Clinton.
