Deanna Boegner

Of Flint, age 75, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013, at Genesys Hospice Care Center. The funeral service will take place 1:00 pm, Friday, January 4, 2013, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor Mike Warren will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Genesee County Humane Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Deanna was born February 4, 1937 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred and Juanita (Hepner) Getts. She and Wayne Robert Boegner were united in marriage October 15, 1966 in Mt. Morris. She worked for Fisher Body in the accounting department for 30 years, retiring in 1987. Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Shirley Camp; several brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews and cousins. Deanna was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Wayne. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Thomas Family, especially, Danny.
