Danis Arnett

March 21, 1960 — April 24, 2018

Danis Earl Arnett, age 58, of Mt. Morris, died Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at his home. In accordance with Danis’ wishes, cremation has taken place. A Native American memorial service will take place 3:30 pm, Thursday, May 3, 2018, at the Clio VFW Post 1452 (1038 N. Saginaw Rd. Clio, MI 48420). Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Danis was born March 21, 1960, the son of Mr. & Mrs. George and Gertrude (Harrington) Arnett. He graduated from Kearsley High School with the class of 1979. Danis worked for Ryder as a long-haul truck driver. In his free time, Danis loved, listening to country music, fishing and hunting, hanging out with friends and riding his motorcycle. He treasured watching his son play sports, time spent with his family and celebrating his Native American traditions. The world will not be the same without Danis. Left to cherish his memory are his three children: Christopher and his wife, Paula Arnett, Jennifer Bielby, and Todd Bielby; seven grandchildren: Conner Arnett, Julian Arnett, Dawson Arnett, Shaylyn Arnett, Chase Congdon, Aiden Sills and Brett Bielby; four sisters: Sandy and her husband, Rod Baumgart, Diana Conner and her husband, Derald Horn, Donna and her husband, Charlie Attardi, Bonnie and her husband Barry Dues; and several nieces and nephews. Danis was preceded in death by his parents, George and Gertrude Arnett; four brothers, Leo, James, Robert and George; and several friends.
