Dale Lee Andreychuk

Age 69, of Vassar, died Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Covenant Health Care-Cooper with his family by his side. In accordance with Dale’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will be present to receive friends from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm on Monday, June 21, 2021, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Vassar with a graveside service to follow at Riverside Cemetery. Dale was born in Saginaw on February 12, 1952, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alex and Cleta (Somerville) Andreychuk. Raised and educated locally, Dale graduated from Vassar High School with the Class of 1970. After high school, Dale took a position at General Motors, retiring from Skilled Trades in 2006. Dale loved life in his Vassar home that he adored. When his children were younger, he loved to watch them play hockey, he never missed a game if he could help it. Dale was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching all sports. He was a quiet, shy man but loved to listen to others and spend time with his family. He always wanted to know how your car was doing. Dale always put others before himself. Going out to eat breakfast was one of his favorite pastimes. When he didn’t feel like going out, he would make his own elaborate breakfast and invite his children. In his free time, he enjoyed watching the news, fishing on the Cass River, and reading magazines about the outdoors and news. Left to cherish Dale’s memory are his sons: Eric Andreychuk, Matthew and wife, Melissa Andreychuk, and Nicholas Andreychuk; granddaughter, Madelyn; siblings: Gail and husband, Jerry Josef, Alfred Andreychuk; niece and nephews: Katie Josef, John Josef, Bryan Josef. Dale was preceded in death by his parents.
