Cynthia Roman

Age 73, of Sand Point, Michigan, died on Tuesday, November 26, 2024; at McLaren – Flint. In accordance with Cynthia’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place on Thursday, December 5, 2024; at 12:00 noon, at Detroit Cremation Society, 8253 S. Saginaw Rd. Grand Blanc, MI. Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell to officiate. Family will be present to receive friends on Thursday, from 11:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 noon. A private interment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date.  Cynthia was born on June 9, 1951, in Flint, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John and Joyce (Clement) Deal. Growing up locally, Cynthia graduated from Mt. Morris High School with the Class of 1969. Cynthia would meet a young man, Ronald Roman. The two dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on September 7, 1974; at United Methodist Church in Mt. Morris. Their marriage would be blessed with four daughters, Becky. Lori, Martha, and Michelle. Cynthia’s career began in the automotive industry, as a line worker at AC Spark Plug, for 30 years, until retiring on March 1, 2002. 

Cynthia enjoyed many hobbies, including bowling, aerobic exercise, Euchre, remodeling and painting her home, however, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially doting on her grandchildren. 

 Left to cherish Cynthia’s memory are her husband, Ronald; four daughters: Becky Pfeiffer, Lori Taylor, Martha Sawyer, and Michelle Pasiak; and her grandchildren. 

Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, John Deal III.
