Curtis Titsworth

Curtis James Titsworth, age 58, of Mt. Morris, passed away unexpectedly at home with the love of his life by his side on Sunday, August 13, 2017. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017, at 3:00 pm, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris, with cremation to follow. Curtis’ family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 3:00 pm. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions to the Pet Angel Adoption & Rescue of Frankenmuth or to the Boy Scout Troop 0552 in Millington. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Curtis was born December 1, 1958, in Flint, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Laurence and Ida Louise (McTaggart) Titsworth. He graduated from Millington High School with the class of 1976. Curtis married the love of his life, Margo on August 15, 1997. He worked for Formspec in Fenton for over 30 years, from there he would become a crane operator for Titanus Cement Wall Company in Novi for the past 3 years. In his free time, Curtis enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, hunting and fishing, and spending time in Hale at their cabin. He also enjoyed tinkering around at home on projects. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Clio Post 3609. He was also a long-time member and proud sponsor of the Eagle Scouts. Left to cherish his memory, wife and love of his life for 35 years, Margo; two children: Jerry (Melodie), and April (Fred); nine grandchildren: Katrina, Kayla (James), Austin C., James, Nathan, Austin J., Zack, Kaylee, and Marissa “Little Diva”, two great-granddaughters: Adrianna, and Nevaeh; four siblings: Steve (Jan), Bruce (Hui Yon), Rhonda (Brad), Corinne (Rich); sisters-in-law, Marla (Joe), and Linda (Bob); mother-in-law, Myra Dibble; special friend, Jon Cushman; many other family members, and friends; and of course his family cats. Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law, Robert Dibble, brother-in-law Mac Nichols, and his childhood friend Dave Shurtz.
