Crystal Gomez

Age 35, of Davison, died Monday, September 10, 2018, at home with her loving husband by her side. A funeral service will take place on Monday, September 17, 2018, at 12:00 noon at Martin Funeral, Cremation, and Tribute Services of Mount Morris. Pastor Kevin Dixson will officiate with burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery following the service. Crystal’s family will be present to greet friends on Sunday, September 16, 2018, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Crystal was born in Flint, on January 16, 1983, to Mr. and Mrs. William J. and Susan Marie (Philips) Bunting Sr. She graduated from Elizabeth Ann Johnson high school in 2001 and went on to Mott Community College. Her job would take her Victoria, Texas where she would meet the love of her life, Israel Gomez. Crystal and Israel were united in marriage on March 28, 2016, in Victoria. Israel remained by his wife’s side until she took her last breath. Left to cherish her memory are husband, Israel; children: Shane William Howard II, Joseph William Howard; parents, William Joseph Sr. and Susan Marie Bunting; step-daughters: Alisha Marie Gomez, Brandi Nicole and husband, Shawn Eliott; brother, William Joseph Bunting Jr., grandparents; Russel Lee and Dorothy Mae Phillips, Teddy Dale Bunting Sr., aunts and uncles: James William Jr. and wife, Mary Lynn Gibson, Lester and wife, Joy Lee Walker, Cheryl Ann Elsworth, Ronald James and wife, Carmen Phillips, Teddy Dale Jr. and wife, Claudia Bunting, Michael and wife, Laura Bunting, Charles and wife, Suzanne Bunting, Grace Anna and husband, Bradley Gilson, Christopher and wife, Katherine (Bunting) Englehart. Crystal was preceded in death by her grandmother, Grace Anna Bunting. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Melissa and Katrina of All American Hospice. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the family to help defray funeral costs.
