Constance Joyce Day 1926 - 2008 Of Township of Fairgrove, age 82, died Sunday, January 4, 2009 at Covenant Medical Center - Harrison. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Thursday, January 8, 2009 at the Martin Funeral Home in Fairgrove. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am. Pastor Robert Korter and Elder Jay Gallimore will officiate with burial to follow in Brookside Cemetery. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Family Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Constance was born February 21, 1926 in Mio, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert (Violet) Pierce. She and Alfred Day were united in marriage December 29, 1963. She leaves to cherish her memory, two children: Roland and wife Shanta, Karen Hawthorne two grandchildren: Katie and Jackson Day, two step-granddaughters: Michelle Hawthorne, Sherri and her husband Wayne Lawerence. Constance was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Alfred. Friends may share a memory with the family at the funeral home.
