Charles Schultz

Charles E. Schultz, age 68, of Vassar, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2018, at Covenant Hospital in Saginaw. Charles was born in Saginaw, on June 14, 1950, to Herman and Margaret (Tolefree) Schultz. He married the love of his life, Diana Baxter, on November 4, 1977. Aside from working at Grey Iron Foundry in Saginaw, he also worked on the family dairy farm. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Michael Schultz. Left to cherish his memory are wife, Diana Schultz; son Darald (Dottie) Schultz, step-son, John Schnettler, sister-in-law, Jamie Schultz, nine grandchildren: Morgan, Paige, Nathan, Daisy, Daliah, and Dixie Schultz, Hillary, and Samantha Schnettler, and Daniel Smith; two great-grandchildren: Baily, and Elijah Smith; two nieces; as well as great-nieces and nephews. A memorial service will place 11:00 am, Thursday, August 30, 2018, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Vassar; Pastor James Plocher to officiate. In accordance with Charles' wishes, cremation has taken place.
