Cremation will take place with burial to follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Charlie was born on April 2, 1931 in Flint. In his earlier years, he was a Brick Mason and served in the Navy from 1948 to 1952, he was always known as a jack of all trades. Charlie loved golfing, watching sports games, and woodworking projects. Left to cherish his memory are son-in-law, David and wife Ava Suffel, daughters-in-law Adrienne Suffel and Terry and husband Ray Lewis; three grandchildren, Shannon, Gina, and Shawnacee Suffel; and three great-grandchildren, Bella Braun, Jylena and Jasmyn Castanon. He was preceded in death by his wife and son-in-law, Ed Suffel. Charlie will be dearly missed by his family and friends. A special thank you goes to Marsha, all of Charlie's friends and neighbors at Coach Light Manor in Fort Myers who were there for him, and to his neighbor, Sue Cooper, of Davison.
