Carol Ann Lazar was born in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel and Bernice Lazar. Educated locally, Carol attended Flint Central. Carol would meet a young gentleman, Ronald Wilson. The two dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on October 5, 1963, at the Central Church of the Nazarene in Flint. Their union was blessed with three children. Carol’s caring and compassionate nature would lead her on a career path in the healthcare field, working as a nursing assistant. Carol dedicated 30 years to caring for others, retiring from the Argentine Care Center.
Carol enjoyed spending time with her family, hosting gatherings, especially Christmas, decorating her home, shopping for Christmas gifts year-round to ensure that everyone not only received a gift, but that they all received an equal amount. Carol also enjoyed scrapbooking, shopping, and gardening. She loved animals, especially her dog, Snickers.
Left to cherish Carol’s memory are her three children, Ronald (Tracey Marie) Wilson, Jeff Wilson, Mardell (Christopher) Lopez; six grandchildren, Steven (Amanda) Wilson, Lacey (Matt) Smith, Joshua Wilson, Alyssa Dillenbeck, Christopher (Courtney) Lopez, Connor Lopez; and great-granddaughter, Adaleigh; seven step-great-grandchildren; two siblings, Douglas (Marie) Lazar, and Chuck Lazar, and her beloved
dog of 18 years, Snickers.
Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald; parents, sister, Joyce Gilliam, brother, Samuel Lazar; and dog, Benji.
