Carl Holtz

Carl Holtz, age 64, of Flint, died Monday, September 8, 2014. A farewell luncheon will be held from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm, Friday, September 12, 2014, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers please consider memorial contributions to the American Heart Association. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Carl was born July 25, 1950, in Mt. Morris, at his parent's home; he is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Donald and Nettie (Oliver) Holtz. Carl worked for AC for several years until retiring on November 1, 1998. He was a long time member of UAW Local #651. In his free time Carl, enjoyed bowling, fishing, playing BINGO and going to the casino. Left to cherish his memory, his daughter Carla (Henry) Blair, III; two grandchildren Gabriel and Sarah Blair; four siblings, Robert (Karin) Holtz, Georgia (Bruce) Cochrane, Willie Holtz, James (Jody) Holtz; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Carl was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Jay D. Holtz.
