Brenda Vincent

Brenda Ann (Lamb) Vincent, age 76, of Mt. Morris, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018, at her home surrounded by her family. A funeral service will take place 1:00 pm, Thursday, November 1, 2018, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor David Miller will officiate with cremation to follow. Brenda’s family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 1:00 pm. Those desiring may direct memorial donations to the American Heart Association. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Brenda was born on January 5, 1942, in Reidsville, North Carolina, the daughter of late Mr. & Mrs. Herman and Nellie (Hooper) Lamb. She graduated from Reidsville High School. Brenda was united in marriage to Dennis Vincent on December 14, 1968, in Flint. She would work for many years at the Cone Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina in the administrative office. Brenda worked at the McDonalds in Genesee for many years before her retirement. She belonged to the Bible Baptist Church in Burton, served as a past president on the PTO committee for Hill Elementary School in Davison, was a member of the Red Hats Society and volunteered as a Cub Scout Leader. In her free time, she enjoyed getting her nails and hair done and traveling the world. She traveled to 13 countries and had traveled to 42 of our 50 states. Brenda will be greatly missed by many. Left to cherish her memory are loving husband: Dennis Vincent; three children: Charles and wife, Renee Vincent, Dwanda Taber, Billy and wife, Jamie Vincent; four grandchildren: Jamie and husband, Armando DeSenzio, Lillian Taber, Gracelyn Vincent, Jacob and wife, Victoria Moore; three great-grandsons: Emmett Desenzio, Lucian DeSenzio, and Izyk Moore. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and Aunt, Anne Shorter.
