Barbara Mclean (Andrews)

Barbara Jean McLean (Andrews) of Frankenmuth, formerly of Vassar, died Monday, April 9, 2018, at Wellspring Lutheran Services in Frankenmuth. In accordance with Barbara’s wishes cremation has taken place. Barbara was born on January 10, 1932, to the late Mr. & Mrs. Lewis and Florence (Bates) Andrews. She married the love of her life Robert McLean. Sadly, he preceded her in death on February 17, 2006. Barbara stayed at home to care for her four children. Barbara was a member of St, Michaels Lutheran church in Richville and a member of the Temple Theater Organ Club. She would go on to work for Vassar Pioneer Times. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, writing, singing and playing the piano. Left to cherish her memory are her four children: Joy McLean, Robert A. (Stephanie) McLean, Steven R. McLean, Fred (Holly) McLean; and five grandchildren: Charles, Calvin, Abbey, Samantha, and Elizabeth. Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert, parents, and two sisters, Emma Lake and Wilma Hiscock.
