Barbara Foor

Of Flint, age 67, died Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at Ovid Health Care Center. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 1:00pm, Saturday, October 25, 2008 at First General Baptist Church, 1102 W. Hemphill Rd., Flint. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Genesee County Humane Society, Adopt-a-Pet, Inc. or Mason Elementary School in Grand Blanc. Barbara was born June 15, 1941 in Flint, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glen and Merle (Kissel) Foor. She graduated from Mt. Morris High School with the Class of 1959 and went on to obtain a Bachelors of Science Degree from U of M, Flint. Barbara worked for the Flint School System for many years and went on to retire from the Grand Blanc School System in 2007. Surviving is her brother, David and wife Colleen Belanger of Otisville, two nephews: Troy and wife Jacquilyn Belanger and Corey and wife Alison Argentine, niece, Kharissa Argentine, and many friends and co-workers. She was preceded in death by her parents.
