Barbara Bethel

Barbara Jean Bethel, age 78, of Flint, died Wednesday, May 24, 2017. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at 1:00 pm at Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor Russ Parks to officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, May 29, 2017, from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm, and on Tuesday from 10:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm. Those desiring to make memorial contributions in Barbara’s memory may direct them towards the families wishes. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Barbara was born September 1, 1938, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert and Eva Marie (Laughlin) Galemore. She enjoyed spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren and going to Missouri to visit her family. Barbara enjoyed doing crossword and word search puzzles as well and working in her yard. She was a member of the Huff-n-Puff pulmonary therapy group. Left to cherish her memory are her three children: Debbie Egan and husband, Dick, Tammie Woods, and Shelbie Lara and husband, Paul; grandchildren: Crysta Macauley and husband, George, Aaron Egan and wife, Melissa, Marissa Prizgint and husband, Kenny, Eva Lara, Jessica Dishaw and husband, Christopher, Ashley Richardson and boyfriend, Kieth King; Great Grandchildren: Donovyn, Caleb, Lily, Carter, KJ, Morgan and boyfriend, Justin, Tyler, Jennifer, Makenzie, Jordan, George, Cameron, Mason, Madison, Aaliyah, Alivia, Ashton; Brother, Chuck Galemore and wife, Carlene; two sisters: Peggy Holman, and Alice Galemore; special friend, Christine Hiar. She was preceded in death by her son Greg Bethel, her parents, and two brothers: Gordon and Warren Galemore.
