Arthur Goulette

Of Vassar, age 84, died Friday, July 18, 2008 at Cozy Cove Adult Foster Care in Caro. Arthur was born September 9, 1923 in Mt. Clemens, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur A. and Susan Katherine (Behn) Goulette. He and Arlene Vierk were united in marriage. He later went on to marry Marie Gibson. Arthur retired from the military and served in World War II, the Korea Conflict, as well as two tours in Vietnam. He also earned a bronze and silver star and a purple heart. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter; Peggy J. (Jim) Walleman; step daughter, Bonnie (Joseph) Johnson; grandchildren, Ronald Goulette, Nick (April) Walleman, Karen (Scott) Morden and Sally Goulette; step-grandchildren, Jay Hunnycutt and Brian Hunnycutt; great-granddaughter, Katie and four other great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sons; Ronald and Gerald; brothers, George and Clifford and grandson, Benton Wade Goulette. Private burial will take place in Southlawn Memorial Park in Petersburg, Virginia.
