Arnold Stayen

Of Mt. Morris, age 82, died Saturday, January 31, 2009 at home. The memorial service will take place 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 7, 2009 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris with cremation to follow. ArnoldAaas family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00am until the time of service 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Arnold was born December 22, 1926 in Ionia, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold and Nellie (Luckers) Stayen. He worked for Buick for 30 years. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Sylvia Stayen and son-in-law, Timothy Gamel, son, Bob and wife Peggy Stayen. Two grandchildren; Desiree Stayen, Sherry Stallings and friend Darold Allison. Two great-grandchildren; Jessica Pumfrey and Nathan Pumfrey. Arnold was preceded in death by his parents, wife Charmaine Brown, wife, Ursula, and mother-in-law, Gladys Lowe and beloved dog, Lady.
