Arlan Cole

Cole, Arlan B.\ Age 89, died Saturday June 24, 2006 at his home. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Thursday, June 29, 2006 at Miles Martin Funeral Home with Pastor Dick Raab officiating. Burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park. Family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00pm until 9:00pm Tuesday, 10:00am until 2:00pm, and 5:00pm until 9:00pm Wednesday, and 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am. Memorial contributions may be directed to Richfield Road United Brethren Church. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.\ Arlan was born April 5, 1917 the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred and Gladys (Durham) Cole. \ He loved to hunt, fish, travel, wood crafting, and gardening.\ \ \ Surviving are his sons Larry Cole and Lyle Cole, 1 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 12 step-great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchildren, sisters Dorothy Jean and husband Eugene Kern, and Joyce Flynn, brother Arthur and wife Rita Cole, and many nieces and nephews. \ \ Arlan was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Doris Fuller Cole, second wife Laura Fuller McDermitt Cole, sisters Doris, Esther, and Helen, and brother Ralph.\
