COVID-19 UPDATE: With the recent guidelines limiting the number of people to less than 10 at any gathering, we are asking that you consider other ways to help support family and friends during this difficult time as an alternative to attending a visitation or funeral. Age 78, of Mt. Morris, died Wednesday, April 8, 2020, at home, surrounded by her family. A private graveside service will be held at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Ardith was born on April 5, 1942, in Flint, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arden and Evelyn (Larson) Craglow. Ardith met and married the love of her life, Thomas Ross, on May 11, 1963. Their life together would bring forth three daughters and a son. Ardith was a wonderful mother who spent most of her days tending to the needs of her family. She was an active member of the Messiah Lutheran Church in Clio. Ardith was a member of the Easter Seals and served on the Girl Scout Council, helping with the cookie distribution. In her free time, Ardith enjoyed baking, cooking, hosting cookouts, and pool parties, watching her grandchildren play basketball, baseball, and football. Ardith spent many summers at her cabin on Secord Lake. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Ardith leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Tom; children: Teresa Canada, Thomas and wife, Lisa Ross Jr., Tanya and husband, Mark Chamberlain, Tammy and husband, Matt Kenrick; 7 grandchildren: Matthew, Thomas III, Bryce, Garrett, Nick, Luke, Abby; sisters-in-law: Kay and husband, Tom Tidball, Jo Ross, Glenda and husband, Larry Ray; brother-in-law: Jim and wife, Joyce Ross, best friends: Sharon, Roxie, Annie, Carol, and Marlena, and nieces; Cathy Martin and Linda Ogborn. The family would like to extend a special thank-you to The Care Team Hospice nurses: Gail and Janis. Ardith was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, William and Roy Craglow, sister, Christine Todd, sister-in-law, Norma Hess, and mother-in-law, Fleecie Boone.
