Together, they built the successful Gunther Mobile Home Court & Sales and created a beautiful family of five daughters, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Ann took immense pride in her family and her business and was most pleased when the two came together. Born January 30, 1927 in Mahoning, Ohio to Walter and Mattie, Ann met her husband Richard in 1943 while serving his country in World War II. After relocating to Mt. Morris in 1954 and growing their business and family, Ann enjoyed spending time at their cabin on Higgins Lake and making regular trips to the casino. Ann’s legacy carries on as she is survived by her daughters Janice DiNicola, Susan Siegrist, Karen (John) Mason, Selena Pivirotto and Carla Strong; grandchildren Nick DiNicola, Kitty DiNicola, Ryan Siegrist, Jonathan (Lindsay) Mason, Richard (Jennifer) Mason, Stephan “Jesse” Pivirotto, Devon Pivirotto and Katlyn Strong; nieces Mary Lou Griffith and Sandy Martin; and great nephew Chuck Martin. The family extends a special thanks to Gail Rose for her love and support. In lieu of flowers, donations in Anna’s memory may be made to the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute at www.karmanos.org.
