Ann was born on December 23, 1952, in Flint; she is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Steve and Patricia (McCullum) Szukhent, Jr. Educated locally, Ann graduated from Beecher High School with the class of 1970. She met and married the love of her life, Michael Rosencrantz on May 28, 1977, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Together, she and Michael would take road trips that had no destination, they just loved being in each other’s company. Sadly, Michael preceded her in death on February 12, 2023. Ann was a stay-at-home mother, who homeschooled her three daughters. In between lessons, Ann was the bookkeeper for her church. In her free time, Ann loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren, doing taxes, going to church, she was known to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it.
Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters: Jennifer Madigan, Susanna (McKinley, Sr.) Cota, and Sarah (Francisco, Jr.) Garcia; her mother, Patricia Szukhent; seven grandchildren: Laurel, Brendan, Emma, Jason, Benjamin, Ella, and James; six siblings: Steve (Jaquelin) Szukhent, Barbara (Thomas) Pozzi, Patricia Szukhent, Catherine (Terrance) Kennelly, David (Renatta) Szukhent, Robert Szukhent; family Dr. Towfiq; two special friends: Joshua and Heidi Gonzales; and many other family members and friends.
Ann was preceded in death by her father, Steve Szukhent, Jr.; husband, Michael; and her sister, Mary Smith.
