Ann was born in Flint on October 20, 1947, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David and Irene (Schleicher) Gordon. Educated locally, Ann attended Fenton High School and graduated with the Class of 1965. She went on to obtain her master gardener certificate through Michigan State University. Ann met and married the love of her life, Tom Cummings, on September 3, 1979. Sadly, he preceded her in death on June 17, 2012. Ann had a wonderful talent for gardening and could revive any plant or flower that she touched, not to mention, she could keep any plant just beautiful for years on end. Ann was an avid reader and enjoyed playing Solitaire with actual cards, not electronically. In her younger years, Ann enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and making quilts. She loved her dog, Gracie and enjoyed taking her for walks. Any animal that came into contact with Ann loved her instantly. Ann loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish Ann's memory are her children: Troy and wife, Kathie Cummings, Tracy and husband, Tony Fias; grandchildren: Joseph, David and wife, Victoria, Chancy and wife, Krystin, Jacob, Jordan; great-grandchildren: Brian, Evelyn, Woodson, Helena, Troy, Raleigh, Bonnie; brother, Glen "Cy" Gordon; several relatives, and friends.
Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tom; parents; children: Katherine, and David.
