Andrew Joseph Yuhos

Age 65, of Flint, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 am, Friday, January 31, 2025; at Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Rev. Fr. Roy Horning to officiate, with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Andrew’s family will be present to receive friends on Thursday, from 3:30 pm until 8:00 pm and Friday morning from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am. On Thursday evening, family, friends and parishioners will gather at the funeral home to Pray the Rosary at 6:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be considered to St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. 

Andrew Joseph Yuhos was born on February 14, 1959, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Esther (Forro) Yuhos. Educated locally, Andy graduated from Mt. Morris High School. He was a longtime member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. In his free time, he loved attending sporting events, mostly for the Detroit Tigers. He enjoyed attending Tigers games with his friend, Walt. He would also often go to the movies, workout, and travel.

Left to cherish his memory are his siblings: Paul Yuhos, Monica and husband, Ron Howdyshell, Mary Garduno, Ken and wife, Kelly Yuhos, and Carol Aranjo; his sister-in-law: Tina Yuhos; his brother-in-law: Celso Aranjo; his closest friend: Walt Reed; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephew.

Andy was preceded in death by his parents; his brother: Ron Yuhos; and his brother-in-law: Rich Garduno.
