Alonzo Sell

Of Mt. Morris, age 80, died Saturday, October 6, 2007 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor David Burkett will officiate with burial to follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Family will greet friends and loved ones on Monday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm, Tuesday from 11:00am until 8:00pm, and Wednesday from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.\ \ Alonzo was born May 14, 1927 in Littrell, Kentucky the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Robbie McGee Sell. He and Betty Jean Sell were united in marriage June 29, 1966 in LaFayette, Georgia. He worked at Punch Press Repair in Ferndale. \ \ Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 41 years Betty Jean (Dicken) Sell of Mt. Morris, 8 children; Mary Willis, Harold Sell, Alonzo Sell Jr., Patricia Paddock, Gerri Arndt, Rebecca Cilli, David Sell and Neil Sell, 18 Grandchildren, 4 Great-Grandchildren and countless friends that are part of the family.\ \ He was preceded in death by his parents Robert Leslie Sell and Mrs. Robbie McGee Sell.\
